Make an impact in the lives of young learners by providing essential therapy support services in a vibrant educational setting. This full-time contract role offers a unique opportunity to work as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with a dynamic PreK-5th grade caseload, beginning as soon as possible through May 28th.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid SLPA license or certification
- Experience or interest in school-based therapy with elementary-aged students
- Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, educators, and families
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering growth and development in a school environment
Your Daily Impact:
- Work directly with students from PreK through 5th grade, implementing speech and language interventions
- Carry out therapy activities and assignments as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Document student progress and maintain detailed session notes
- Support teachers and staff in incorporating communication strategies into classroom routines
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
