Staff EngineerBraun Intertec is seeking a Staff Engineer to join our Hibbing, MN office. The successful candidate will be encouraged to expand their skills and certifications through company provided training and mentoring.Responsibilities:Perform various field and laboratory testsWork independently on specific assignments of limited scope and with engineers and on larger projects as a team memberPrepare proposals for geotechnical and material testing projectsManage basic geotechnical and material testing projectsMaintain client communications and build client relationsDevelops solutions, makes recommendations, and prepares engineering reports for reviewObserve construction in progress and reports to project engineerGain experience relevant to obtain Professional Engineer licenseRequired Skills:Valid driver's license and clean driving recordPerform field related services at least 50% of timeGood written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basisTravel up to 25% of timeRequired Experience:Prior professional consulting experience desiredProficiency in field-testing & report writing experienceBachelor's degree in civil engineering with geotechnical, materials emphasis, or relatedPossess EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 monthsAs an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer, all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran or disability status.
