Sr. Sourcing Specialist

Location Charlotte, NC | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $62.49/hour
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

ROLE IMPACT

The Sr. Sourcing Specialist will lead strategic sourcing initiatives that support technology and business objectives through supplier optimization, contract negotiations, and cost management. This role partners with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive operational efficiency, maximize value, reduce total cost of ownership, and support enterprise technology initiatives. Success in this position requires the ability to independently manage complex sourcing projects while delivering measurable business outcomes.

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across IT software, IT labor and professional services, hardware, and telecommunications categories.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies, including requirements gathering, supplier evaluations, RFI/RFP processes, and supplier selection.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, statements of work (SOWs), contracts, and supplier agreements to achieve cost savings and business objectives.
• Present sourcing recommendations and negotiation outcomes to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Maintain sourcing documentation, supplier performance data, contract records, and project reporting.

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiations within technology-related spend categories.
• Experience leading RFI/RFP development, requirements gathering, and sourcing strategy execution for multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong ability to negotiate software, professional services, telecom, or technology-related agreements and present recommendations to executive stakeholders.

Preferred Skills
• Experience with Ariba procurement and sourcing platforms.
• Experience with Archer or related governance, risk, and compliance systems.
• Background supporting banking, financial services, or large enterprise sourcing environments.
