Systems Engineer 3

Overview Contract (11 months 30 days) Contract assignment; not a full-time Boeing employment offer. Selected candidates will be contracted through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the project. This posting is for an Experienced Reliability, Maintainability, and System Health Engineer to join the Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers programs in Oklahoma City, OK. The Boeing Oklahoma Systems Integration teams support the design, configuration, production, certification, and delivery of aircraft integrated systems. The role requires an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Position Responsibilities Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture Performs analyses for reliability, maintainability, diagnostics, system health, testability, and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes Resolves cross-functional technical issues Describe the project/day-to-day activities they will be working on: Day to day activities would include generation of component level FMECA analyses or predictions and the associated research/discussions necessary Describe the required skill set/experience for the resources: FMECA, Reliability, Maintainability, System Health Predictions Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 4+ years of experience with Systems Engineering principles Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Great communications and writing skills Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams at multiple organizational levels in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Critical thinking skills; ability to work in an agile, flexible team environment Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Experience using the Systems Engineering V implementing a System onto a product System Engineering requirements and verifications experience Able to lead by influence outside formal reporting relationships 5+ years of Reliability, Maintainability, and System Health experience 5+ years of working experience in Failure Mode Effect Analysis, Reliability & Maintainability Predictions, and/or Reliability Testing activities Master’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Systems Engineering or related disciplines 3+ years of experience with Reliability and Maintainability engineering principles Pay and Benefits Pay Rate Range Min Pay Rate $60 Max Pay Rate $65 Currency USD Unit hourly Benefits Information *Optional Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K Tundra Technical Solutions is among North America’s leading providers of Staffing and Consulting Services.
