Medical Biller Annandale, VA Pay From: $20 per hour MUST: 2+ years of experience as a Medical Biller OBGYN experience required Athena EMR experience required Knowledge of accurate CPT/ICD Codes Experience verifying Insurances Experience with explanation of benefits and claims DUTIES: The Biller will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Maintains all authorization/notification related faxes and other documentation in order to support the appeals process if a claims denial is received. May work to resolve claims denials related to the prior authorization process and may include account review, claim review, appeal preparation and submission. Posting Charges Posting insurance and patient payments and adjustments Research denied claims and contact payers for timely payment resolution Contacting insurance carriers regarding unpaid claims Assist patients with questions regarding their account and insurance benefit Writing appeal letters Basic Knowledge of ICD-10 also a plus Perform other duties as needed Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
