This individual contributor role owns the relationship with an outside managed security provider, drives SOC 2 program management, and runs disaster recovery planning - all without a mandate to personally configure firewalls or manage a team. What you will do:

• Own the vendor relationship with an outsourced security provider
• Manage SOC 2 (or similar) audit program: policies, control testing, evidence coordination
• Run disaster recovery and business continuity tabletop exercises
• Translate security risk into plain language for company leadership

What you bring:

• A recognized security certification (CISSP preferred)
• Experience managing a security vendor or MSSP relationship
• Audit program ownership experience (SOC 2, SOC 1, or ISO)
• Strong executive communication skills
• Comfort operating solo in a fast-paced environment
