The Electrician Helper will assist the Electrical Technician across a variety of functions essential to the maintenance/repair/troubleshooting of electrical systems/components. This entry-level position offers a hands-on learning experience for individuals interested in developing skills in the trades. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Assists paired technician with installation, troubleshooting, programming, repairs and modifications on a variety of electrical equipment. Performs basic tasks while operating tools and machinery under direct supervision of paired technician or designee. Sets up necessary staging areas, lay down protective coverings, and ensure all tools and materials are brought to the work area. Maintains a clean, organized, and safe job site during and after completion. Transports materials and supplies. Performs basic inspections and reporting issues to the appropriate personnel while strictly following all safety protocols. Submits work orders when appropriate. This position is designated as essential personnel during inclement/hazardous weather and other emergencies. Potential for Full Time Employee (FTE) position based on job performance. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency and related trade experience. Valid Driver's License required.
