As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Titusville, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.19 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help support restricted-access procedures common to a defense and aerospace location.
• Complete routine reports, logs, and pass-down communication related to patrol activity, incidents, and/or operational changes during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
