Electrical Superintendent

Position Title: Electrical Superintendent

Location: Based in Raleigh, NC (Travel Required)

A general contractor specializing in large-scale solar energy projects, is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to oversee construction activities on solar job sites. This role involves managing field operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, and maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, with the potential for a long-term role after six months.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily field operations on large-scale solar construction sites.
• Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met or exceeded.
• Oversee subcontractors and site personnel to ensure work is performed safely and efficiently.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety regulations, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Address and resolve any on-site issues, including delays or unexpected challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress, and site conditions.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
• Travel to various project sites as needed, with the ability to stay on location for extended periods.

Traveling Superintendent/Field Supervisor :

8+ years of industrial/heavy commercial construction supervision experience, some electrical experience is required

Solar project experience/exposure is strongly preferred

Associates or bachelors degree is a plus

Ability or willingness to travel 80% of the time when projects are not in Raleigh
