Driver (Part Time)Location: Western Washington University - Retail OpsWe are hiring immediately for a Driver (Part Time) position.Address: Retail at WWU 516 High Street, Bellingham, WA 98225 Note: online applications accepted only.Schedule: Part Time; Shifts may vary with needs of business, discuss your availability + details in interview.Requirement: Part Time; 1-2 years driving experience with box trucks and able to lift heavy items.Fixed Pay Rate: $23.13 per hourJob Summary: Delivers food, supplies and other products to units and areas of service using a vehicle. Essential duties and responsibilities include picking up requisitioned supplies from staging clerk, receiving completed production orders from staging clerk, loading orders onto truck with assistance of staging clerks in a safe, orderly manner, unloading requisitioned materials at delivery site, following sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment, ensuring hot and cold food items are kept in compliance with company standards and meet all sanitation and safety requirements, collecting empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise, responsible for general cleanliness of assigned vehicle, performing routine maintenance on truck, interacting with coworkers to ensure company service standards, providing quality customer service via one-on-one attention to detail, and performing other duties as assigned.Qualifications: Must have a valid state driver's license and a valid food handler's permit where required.
