Service Advisor Trainee

Job Title: Service Advisor Trainee Location: Nelson Mazda Murfreesboro Schedule: 5-Day Work Week We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Service Advisor Trainee. In this role, you will learn the essential functions of a Service Advisor, acting as a liaison between customers and our service team. You will ensure that customers receive outstanding service and care, while also helping to manage service operations efficiently. This is an entry-level role with room for career advancement within the company. Key Responsibilities: Assist customers in understanding their vehicle’s service needs, ensuring clear communication between customers and technicians Develop knowledge of service processes, repair orders, and vehicle maintenance Learn to prepare accurate cost estimates for vehicle repairs and services Facilitate customer appointments, ensuring timely and efficient service scheduling Communicate service updates to customers in a clear and friendly manner Handle customer concerns and issues, working to resolve them in a professional manner Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and warranties Assist with customer follow-ups and service reminders Provide exceptional customer service while fostering a positive work environment Qualifications: College education preferred but not required: further education in automotive, customer service, or related field preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to work well in a team setting Basic knowledge of automotive services is a plus but not required Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges Benefits: Work Schedule : 5-day work week 401(k) + Company Match : Plan your future with confidence through our retirement savings program, which includes a company match up to 6%!
