Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant Opportunity

TCIM, a division of Summit Healthcare, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their practice. This is a part-time opportunity, starting with 3 days a week and potential for 4 days a week.

Responsibilities include managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients in collaboration with physicians, maintaining and reviewing patient records, ordering and performing laboratory and diagnostic procedures, determining preliminary diagnoses and therapeutic plans, instructing patients/families regarding medications and treatments, assisting physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients, providing monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits, and triaging nursing and family telephone calls and providing consultation.

Education: Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.

Experience: Minimum of three years of previous patient care experience in a clinic setting, plus two years of APN or PA experience is preferred.

Certification/License: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse in State of Tennessee, or current Physician Assistant licensed to practice in State of Tennessee.
