Cost Accountant

Cost AccountantCreative Financial Staffing (CFS) is seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to provide accounting support for a manufacturing organization in Rochester, Indiana.Location: Rochester, IN Salary Range: $55,000–$60,000 annuallyKey ResponsibilitiesManufacturing Accounting: Support inventory accounting, work-in-process (WIP), standard costing, work orders, and variance analysis.Account Reconciliations: Perform balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations, assist with SAP opening balance cleanup, and review transactions within NetSuite.Month-End Close: Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, amortization schedules, and fixed asset accounting.Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting.Assist with additional accounting projects and cleanup activities as needed.QualificationsStrong practical accounting knowledge with experience in a manufacturing environment.Understanding of inventory accounting, WIP, standard costing, and variance analysis.Experience performing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting month-end close.Knowledge of fixed assets, accruals, and general ledger accounting.Experience with SAP or NetSuite preferred.Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to learn new systems quickly.Ability to work independently and contribute within a small#INOCT2026
