Capital Tech Solution is looking for a US-based technical professional to help us build trusted relationships with clients, guide technical discussions, and connect business goals with practical software solutions.

This opportunity may be a great fit for someone who wants to stay involved in technology, work with business leaders, and explore an additional professional opportunity alongside existing commitments.

Capital Tech Solution :

Capital Tech Solution is a technology consulting firm that helps businesses design, build, and scale software products and platforms.

We combine strategic technical leadership, software engineering expertise, and practical consulting to help clients solve complex problems and turn business ideas into effective technology solutions.

Our team works across different industries and modern technologies, giving our professionals exposure to diverse clients, products, and business challenges.

About the Role :

As our Technical Advisor, you'll be a trusted technical partner for our US clients.

You'll join important client conversations, understand their goals, discuss possible solutions, and help them make informed technical decisions.

Our internal engineering team handles the core development work and project delivery. Your role is to help clients understand the technical direction, communicate expectations clearly, and feel confident about working with our team.

You won't need to spend your week writing production code or managing daily engineering tasks. Instead, you'll use your technical knowledge, communication skills, and professional judgment where they matter most.

Think of this as an opportunity to use your engineering experience in a more flexible, client-focused role.

What You'll Do

- Join discovery calls and technical meetings with prospective and existing clients.

- Build relationships with founders, executives, product leaders, and technical stakeholders.

- Understand client goals, priorities, concerns, and business requirements.

- Translate client discussions into clear technical direction for our engineering team.

- Explain architecture, timelines, technical decisions, and trade-offs in simple language.

- Help clients understand what's realistic in terms of features, scope, budget, and delivery.

- Identify potential risks and resolve communication gaps before they become bigger problems.

- Support technical discussions during the sales and solution-planning process.

- Participate in important project reviews, milestone meetings, and occasional client escalations.

- Keep clients informed and confident throughout their projects.

- Prepare for meetings with our internal team so you have the information you need.

- Help maintain long-term client relationships and identify opportunities for future collaboration.

What We're Looking For

We're interested in professionals who combine strong technical knowledge with clear communication and sound business judgment.

You may be a great fit if you have:

- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, technical leadership, or a related field.

- Experience as a Tech Lead, Engineering Lead, Solution Architect, Software Architect, Head of Engineering, CTO, or in a similar role.

- A US-based location and strong spoken and written English.

- A solid understanding of software architecture and modern product development.

- Familiarity with web applications, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, mobile applications, or AI-enabled products.

- The ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

- Confidence discussing project scope, timelines, costs, risks, and technical trade-offs.

- Good judgment when client expectations don't match technical or commercial realities.

- A calm, professional communication style and reliable follow-through.

- The ability to work independently in a remote environment.

You don't need to be an expert in every technology. We value practical experience, clear thinking, and the ability to build trust with clients.

Nice to Have

- Previous experience in consulting or a software development agency.

- Experience working directly with founders, executives, or business leaders.

- A background in technical pre-sales or solution consulting.

- Experience supporting US-based software clients.

- Familiarity with SaaS, FinTech, eCommerce, mobile applications, or AI products.

- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- A track record of building long-term client relationships.

Time Commitment and Flexibility

Time commitment: Approximately 2–5 hours per week, depending on active client engagements.

Flexible schedule: No fixed daily working hours. Most activities involve scheduled client meetings, discovery calls, project reviews, and occasional technical discussions.

Compatible with other work: This role may fit alongside a full-time job, consulting practice, or other professional commitments, provided there are no conflicts with your existing employment obligations.

Support from our team: You'll work closely with our internal engineers and delivery team. We'll help you prepare for client meetings and provide the relevant project background, requirements, and technical context.

What Success Looks Like

You'll help clients feel heard, understand their options, and make confident decisions.

Our engineers will receive clear requirements and useful context, allowing them to focus on building and delivering great software.

Over time, you'll become a trusted advisor to our US clients and help strengthen long-term business relationships.
