JOB DETAILS: Ratios: Not specified. Shift: 10 hr x 4 days a week 0730-1800. Some early shift of 0630-1700 (or until the structural heart is completed). Clinicians will have one of the 4 days designated as a late shift (Meaning they complete the last patient of the day). Call: 1 night a week. Float Requirement: as needed. Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend every other month. UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, MAC LAB, CUPID, EPIC, SBAR. SCHEDULING TYPE: Self. UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours. All testing must be completed within 48 hours. Submission Process: All units are utilizing Clinical for direct profile review. Submission Details: Former Novant/New Hanover employees (PERM/PRN/EP) must wait 12 months before applying. Disclosure required (with hospital name/dates employed) at submission; facility approval needed. Current travel Per Diem clinicians aren't eligible for travel contracts they must choose one. Include status and intent in the submission. Local candidates ( 50 miles): Lower rate applies. RTO: Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays). Must work 2 of 3 major holidays. No RTO during first week. All RTO must be pre-approved. Cannot request additional RTO after signing. NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal. Floating: Candidates must be open to floating within/near facility per job description. Travel pairs: Allowed (must be on different units and disclosed). Charting: See job description. References can be pending at submission. Modules: Pre-start modules are non-billable, time spent on modules should be margined separately from orientation hours. Acute Care: ~8-10 hours of modules.
