Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering relevant diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
• Identifying and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with seasoned physicians or independently based on your credentials
• Educating patients and their families on preventative care, wellness strategies, and effective disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies as permitted within your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and overseeing chronic disease management
• Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive, comprehensive patient care
• Diligently documenting in electronic medical records (EMR) with accuracy and detail

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Georgia
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or able to secure within 90 days)
