Unit Overview Stepdown Unit 6 South is a 35-bed medical stepdown unit that cares for patients with a multitude of medical/neurological diagnoses, some of whom require telemetry monitoring. Nurses on this unit also provide virtual nursing and camera monitoring. 6 South is an excellent unit to start your nursing career and prepare you for your future path/specialty area. Qualifications Current Michigan Nursing License. Graduate nurses invited to apply. Graduation from an accredited nursing program; a BSN degree is preferred or agreement in writing to obtain a BSN within five years. BLS Certification required. Benefits Competitive compensation.
