Together, we create an environment where you can grow, contribute, and help improve the experience and outcomes for every patient we serve.**Benefits:*** *Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits that include healthcare navigation assistance.** *Access to a mental health benefit at no cost.** *Employer provided life and disability insurance.** *$5,250 Tuition Reimbursement per year.** *Immediate 401(k) match.** *40 hours paid volunteer time off.** *A culture committed to community engagement and social impact.** *Up to 12 weeks parental leave at 100% pay and a financial benefit for adoption and surrogacy for non-physician team members once eligibility requirements are met.* **Position Highlights:****Certified Medical Assistant - Family Practice - Lisle*** Full-Time, 40 hours per week* Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30AM-5:00PM; hours will vary.* Location: Lisle, IL* Travel: As needed. **Responsibilities*** Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health history* Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid procedures* Certified medical assistants may assist with immunizations or injections* Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filing* Conduct onsite lab testing to include: EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests* Maintains clean, warm and inviting examination rooms for patient visits* Provide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE values* Some travel to assist other local clinics may be required**Qualifications*** High school diploma or GED required* Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required* Several of our clinical specialties including Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Family Practice, require active medical assistant certification through one of the following: + American Medical Technologists (AMT) + National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) + National Healthcareer Association (NHA) + American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) + American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)* CPR certification or willing to become certified upon hire required* May require phlebotomy certification to be completed within 90 days of hire* Prior experience working as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT **or** 2 years of prior experience working in a medical office assisting with patient care* Prior experience using an electronic medical record (e.g. Epic) preferred* College graduates from a health sciences program interested in gaining patient care experience and in pursuing a career in healthcare are welcome to applyThe compensation for this role includes a base pay range of **$21.43-23.63** for a Medical Assistant; Certified or Registered Medical Assistant the base pay range is **$22.97-24.57**, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
