Assistant Store Manager

Summary The Assistant Store Manager supports store operations, sales performance, and team development for a luxury jewelry boutique. This role helps deliver an exceptional client experience while maintaining operational standards and achieving store targets. Responsibilities Oversee merchandise flows, inventory reconciliation, purchase requests, purchase orders, and end-of-day procedures. Support achievement of sales and KPI targets, build client relationships, and model excellent customer service. Ensure compliance with store policies, procedures, security standards, and operational requirements. Train and develop sales associates, conduct store meetings and audits, and manage schedules, payroll approvals, time-off requests, and commission submissions. Requirements Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of retail supervisory experience; luxury experience is a plus. Experience in retail operations, inventory control, and visual merchandising. Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, coaching, and relationship-building skills. Computer literacy, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; foreign language skills are a plus.
