Occupational Therapist for a 36-week contract in Richmond, TX. The role supports students through occupational therapy services, collaborating with school staff to develop individualized education programs. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with school staff to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) for students requiring occupational therapy services
• Provide direct occupational therapy assessments and interventions to students in need
• Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and state regulations
• Participate in team meetings to coordinate care and educational goals
• Advocate for student needs to promote optimal developmental and educational outcomes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent degree/license
• Valid OT license in Texas
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist in a school setting
• Strong understanding of school-based therapy protocols and documentation
• Resume and valid license required
• Ability to work days, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week
• Must have excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset
• Physical ability to perform occupational therapy services within a school environment
