Financial Analyst III

• Type: W2 Contract | 5 Months | Potential Extension/Conversion  

• Pay: $30/hr + Optional Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) 

Overview 

Seeking a Financial Analyst III to support the client's Program Accounting team by preparing and reconciling monthly network payments, accruals, and financial reports. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience working with large datasets, and the ability to independently drive reporting, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Prepare, analyze, and reconcile monthly invoices, payments, accruals, and journal entries. 

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes through financial reporting and analysis. 

• Analyze large datasets using SQL, Teradata, Oracle, and other database tools to calculate payments, accruals, and business metrics. 

• Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and provide actionable insights and recommendations. 

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and risk analysis. 

• Support process improvement, standardization, audit reviews, and operational efficiency initiatives. 

• Complete ad hoc financial analysis and reporting projects as needed. 

Required Qualifications 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Experience working with large datasets and financial reporting. 

• Proficiency with SQL, Teradata, Oracle, Essbase, and Microsoft Excel. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Finance, Accounting, FP&A, or public accounting experience. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience supporting network infrastructure or capacity upgrade programs (FDX/Genesis). 

• Project management experience. 

• Telecommunications or media industry experience preferred.
