Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

MLR is actively looking for a skilled certified Surgical Technologist to become a part of our dedicated surgical team. In this critical role, you will support surgeons and help ensure that all operating room procedures are executed smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will be essential in upholding the highest standards of patient care and surgical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities for the Surgical Technologist:

Prepare and maintain a sterile field before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Assist surgeons by providing the necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment throughout operations.
Prepare and manage surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring proper sterilization and availability.
Monitor and uphold sterile techniques and infection control measures during procedures.
Assist with patient positioning and preparation prior to surgery.
Collaborate closely with the surgical team to anticipate needs and facilitate seamless operations.
Maintain precise and thorough documentation of surgical procedures and patient data.

Qualifications for the Surgical Technologist:

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) must be obtained before the start date.
BLS certification is also required to be obtained prior to starting.
Proven experience in a surgical environment, with a strong understanding of surgical procedures and techniques is preferred.
Excellent knowledge of sterilization methods and infection control protocols is preferred.
Strong communication skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a sterile and safe working environment.
