Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay:$3,640-$4,310 Location:San Diego, California - enjoy a coastal city known for its year-round sunshine, relaxed lifestyle, and vibrant neighborhoods Healthcare Setting:Outpatient Gastroenterology Clinic Start Date:9/7/2026 Duration:13 weeks, with potential for extension Schedule:Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Shifts per Week:5 Shift Duration:8-hour days Call:No call required Patient Volume:Approximately 18 patients per day EMR:Epic Job Requirements At least 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience required Recent Gastroenterology experience required Board Certified Nurse Practitioner Active California Nurse Practitioner license required at time of submission BLS certification required Ability to work in an on-site outpatient clinic setting Strong communication, documentation, and patient follow-up skills Responsibilities Provide clinic-based gastroenterology care with no procedural responsibilities Conduct initial patient consultations and evaluations Review pathology results and communicate follow-up recommendations to patients Manage medications and treatment plans within scope of practice Complete inbox management and follow-up care coordination Deliver general GI consultations and ongoing outpatient support Document patient encounters accurately in Epic Collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care Benefits GHR Healthcare offers 401K with Matching, Healthcare, Dental and Vision to Employees.
