Key Responsibilities: Assessments and Evaluations: Conduct psychological evaluations to identify students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Counseling Services: Offer individual and group counseling to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral issues. Collaboration: Work with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement student support strategies. Meetings Participation: Engage in IEP meetings and other team discussions as necessary. Record Maintenance: Keep accurate, confidential records of assessments, counseling sessions, and interventions. Professional Development: Stay current with best practices and trends in school psychology. Required Qualifications: Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field. State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist in the state. NASP certification is preferred. Experience in school-based settings is advantageous. Thorough understanding of state and local regulations regarding school psychology.
