The Food Server delivers high-quality dining experiences by taking orders, delivering food and beverages promptly, maintaining clean dining areas, and providing attentive customer service. In senior living or healthcare environments, this role also involves accommodating specific dietary restrictions and assisting residents during mealtimes.

Core Responsibilities

• Service Delivery: Welcome residents/guests, present menus, answer food preparation questions, and record food and beverage orders accurately.
• Meal Prep & Transport: Tray-serve food and drink items from the kitchen to dining tables, following portion control guidelines and presentation standards.
• Dining Maintenance: Set tables with clean linens, dinnerware, and condiments. Clear, sanitize, and reset dining tables promptly after meals.
• Sanitation & Hygiene: Clean dining room areas, service stations, and equipment. Comply with local health department safety guidelines and Food Handler protocols.
• Side Work & Inventory: Restock beverage stations, condiment caddies, paper goods, and flatware. Assist kitchen staff with light prep or dishware sorting as needed.
