Construction Project Manager

Location: Centennial, Colorado

Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year

Job description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead significant commercial construction projects from turnover through closeout.

We are looking for a proven General Contractor PM who can independently own project financials, schedule, subcontractors, client relationships, contracts, risk, and execution.

This is not a specialty-trade PM role. Candidates must have experience managing the overall construction project on behalf of a commercial General Contractor.

For the right person, this role also offers the opportunity to grow into broader construction operations leadership as the company expands.

Responsibilities

• Full project ownership from turnover through closeout
• Budgeting, forecasting, cost-to-complete, WIP, and profitability
• Master schedules, milestone tracking, and recovery planning
• Owner, architect, consultant, and subcontractor relationships
• Buyout, contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and procurement
• Pay applications and subcontractor billing oversight
• Project risk identification and resolution
• Coordination and accountability with Superintendents and field teams
• OAC and internal project meetings
• Mentoring APMs and junior project staff

Required Experience

• 7+ years of progressive commercial construction experience with a General Contractor
• 5+ years as a Senior Project Manager
• Experience independently managing commercial projects as the primary PM
• Full responsibility for project financials, forecasting, schedule, and subcontractor performance
• Strong contract and change-management experience
• Strong owner/client communication skills
• Ability to lead and hold project teams accountable

Preferred

• Experience managing $5M–$25M+ projects
• Ground-up commercial, multifamily, senior living, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, or complex renovation experience
• Experience mentoring PMs, APMs, or Superintendents
• Interest in growing into broader operational leadership
