Market Risk Analyst III | Gas & Power | Houston or Denver | BKV Corp (NYSE: BKV) Good desks want a strong second opinion. This is the seat that gives them one - gas and power, one analyst, no committee. This is a sole‑seat role. You'll be the independent risk voice inside a vertically integrated gas and power platform, not one analyst on a team of ten. You own daily MTM and P&L attribution. You validate forward curves across gas hubs and power ISOs. When a number looks wrong, you're the one who says so. What you'll own: Daily MTM, positions, and exposure across gas hubs and power ISOs/RTOs - ERCOT, PJM, MISO, SPP, CAISO Forward curve validation - price, volatility, discounting - across gas and power Limit monitoring and escalation VaR model review, back‑testing, and stress scenarios Risk on structured transactions and asset‑backed deals Direct partnership with Commercial, Accounting, Credit, Treasury, and Audit What gets you in the room: 5-7 years of market risk or trading analytics experience, natural gas and/or power - real power market fluency is the harder skill and the one we're prioritizing Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI Curve construction, valuation, and VaR methodology - hands‑on, not textbook Allegro or Endur a strong plus Comfortable holding your ground with a trading desk Hybrid. Houston or Denver. $79,000-$150,000 base plus bonus, 6% 401(k) match, full benefits, tuition reimbursement.
