Grey Heron Apéro Café
Grey Heron is a new project from the Freemans Restaurant team. It’s an intimate apéro café that serves specialty coffee and non-alc drinks during the day and signature apero cocktails in the evening. Our flagship store is located at 2 Bleecker St.

Your Role As Bartender
You’ll be the face of our new brand and will prepare specialty drinks and aperitif-adjacent beverages with consistency and care; while helping create a warm atmosphere for our guests.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a refined but relaxed environment and enjoys guiding guests through our menu as well as chatting with neighborhood regulars.

We’re looking for someone organized, warm, and able to gracefully prioritize tasks in a refined but active environment.

Requirements
You should have over two years of bartender experience, ideally within specialty bars.

You should be confident when speaking to guests and controlling the flow of a bar, knowing how to prioritize tasks, making drinks, and interactions, while maintaining high procedural standards.

You should be able to maintain a clean bar, uphold quality standards, and support opening and closing procedures.

A NYC Food Protection Certificate is strongly preferred.
