Preferred Vascular Group is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Radiologist to join our established outpatient vascular and interventional radiology practice in Georgia.

This is a rare opportunity to build a long-term clinical IR career without the call burden, overnight coverage, hospital responsibilities, or diagnostic radiology requirements commonly associated with traditional interventional radiology positions. The practice is entirely ASC-based and focused on delivering comprehensive, patient-centered vascular and interventional care in the outpatient setting.

The incoming physician will join a well-supported clinical practice with an experienced team of nurses, technologists, administrative personnel, reception staff, and centralized billing and back-office support. We are looking for more than a proceduralist. The ideal candidate is a clinical Interventional Radiologist who wants to develop meaningful patient and referral relationships, contribute to the strategic growth of the practice, and take genuine ownership of its long-term success.

The physician will evaluate, treat, and follow patients across a broad range of outpatient vascular and interventional conditions. The practice emphasizes clinical decision-making, longitudinal patient care, procedural excellence, accessibility, and close communication with referring physicians.

The anticipated procedural scope includes:

1. Peripheral arterial evaluation and intervention including lower-extremity arterial revascularization
2. Peripheral venous interventions – RFA, sclerotherapy
3. Dialysis access evaluation and intervention
4. Embolization procedures
5. Outpatient vascular consultations and follow-up care
6. Additional image-guided outpatient interventions based on physician experience, patient demand, and practice-development priorities

Candidates should be comfortable managing patients throughout the full episode of care, including consultation, procedural planning, intervention, post-procedure management, and longitudinal follow-up.

1. Provide high-quality, evidence-based vascular and interventional care in an outpatient ASC environment
2. Evaluate patients in consultation and determine appropriate procedural and nonprocedural treatment plans
3. Perform peripheral arterial, venous, dialysis access, embolization, and other outpatient IR procedures within the physician’s training and privileges
4. Provide appropriate pre-procedure assessment and post-procedure follow-up
5. Communicate clearly and promptly with patients, families, referring physicians, and members of the clinical team
6. Work collaboratively with nursing, technologist, anesthesia, administrative, and operational personnel
7. Maintain accurate, complete, and timely clinical documentation
8. Participate in quality-improvement, patient-safety, and clinical-standardization initiatives
9. Help develop new clinical programs and expand appropriate outpatient service lines
10. Build and maintain strong relationships with referring physicians and community partners
11. Contribute to the long-term clinical, operational, and strategic growth of the practice

1. MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
2. Completion of an ACGME-accredited training pathway in Interventional Radiology, including a Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowship or an Integrated/Independent Interventional Radiology residency
3. Board certified or board eligible in Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology
4. Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in Georgia
5. Eligible for applicable federal and state prescribing and facility credentials
6. Demonstrated proficiency in vascular and interventional radiology
7. Experience or strong training in peripheral arterial intervention, peripheral venous intervention, dialysis access care, and embolization
8. Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered clinical care
9. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Experience in an ASC, office-based laboratory, or other outpatient procedural environment is preferred but not required. Both experienced physicians and well-qualified early-career candidates will be considered.
