Key Responsibilities of the RN - OR - Operating Room

• Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Ensure all equipment is set up and functioning properly before surgery
• Assist in maintaining a sterile environment in the operating room
• Collaborate with the surgical team for effective patient care
• Document all nursing care, treatments, and procedures in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) - MEDITECH

Requirements of the RN - OR - Operating Room

• Active RN license
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience in operating room settings, particularly with surgeries such as general, ortho, neuro, and more
