We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for an ongoing Locum opportunity in Bay City, Michigan , with coverage needed throughout 2026 . This role offers structured weekday call coverage , no weekend call , and strong hospital support—great for providers looking for consistency and work-life balance.

• Coverage Period: March 2026 – December 2026

• Schedule:

  • Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (24-hour call)

  • Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour coverage)

  • No weekend call

• On-Call: Monday–Thursday nights

• Mar 30 – Apr 3, 2026

• Jul 27 – Jul 31, 2026

• Dec 28, 2026 – Jan 1, 2027

• Large acute care hospital with full specialty support

• Primary Stroke Center & Neuroscience Center of Excellence

• Hospitalist support available

• GI clinic located less than 0.5 miles from the hospital

• EMR: Epic

• ERCP – Required

• Inpatient & outpatient GI coverage

• Adult hospital consults

• Support from colorectal surgeons in the community

• Board Certified – Gastroenterology (BE considered case-by-case)

• Active Michigan license (IMLC accepted if dates are 60+ days out)

• ERCP experience required

• DEA in hand by start date

• Clean malpractice history (no exceptions)

• NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days)

• Local providers preferred (no flights covered)

• Flu vaccine (2024–2025 season)

• COVID documentation or declination

• TB, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, TDAP compliance

• Lodging cap

• Car, fuel, mileage covered within policy limits
