Job Description We're looking for an experienced Diagnostic/Heavy Line Automotive Technician who takes pride in solving complex vehicle issues and delivering quality repairs the first time. If you're passionate about diagnostics, enjoy working with the latest technology, and want to be part of a dealership that values its technicians, we'd love to meet you. In this role, you'll: Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance concerns on Ford vehicles. Perform maintenance and repairs efficiently while meeting Ford and dealership quality standards. Use factory diagnostic equipment and technical resources to accurately identify and resolve vehicle issues. Complete thorough multi-point inspections and identify additional maintenance or safety recommendations. Communicate repair findings and recommendations with Service Advisors to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Work closely with the Parts Department to keep repairs moving efficiently. Accurately document diagnostics, repairs, warranty information, and labor operations. Road test vehicles as needed to verify repairs and ensure quality workmanship. Mentor apprentice technicians and help foster a collaborative team environment. Participate in ongoing Ford factory training and stay current with the latest technology, repair procedures, and technical service bulletins. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all dealership and safety policies. Qualifications Preferred qualifications include: Experience as an Automotive Service Technician with Diagnostic and Heavy Line repair experience Ford dealership experience is a plus, but not required Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills ASE Certifications are preferred Ability to efficiently diagnose, repair, and maintain today's increasingly complex vehicles Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused environment Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.
