Registered Nurse Case Manager – Specialty

Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Assignment Details

Traveler will start not less than 6 weeks after fingerprint cards are received.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nursing license in Alaska required at time of submittal.
• Minimum of 1 year of case management experience within the last 2 years in a clinical setting.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Case Management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions and patient responses.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per provider orders and policy.
• Provide patient and family education related to care, medications, and discharge needs.
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record.
