Job Details

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Labor & Employment Attorney with at least two years of relevant experience to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a range of employment-related matters, including litigation, counseling, and compliance, and will be admitted to practice in New Jersey. Admission in Pennsylvania is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities:

• Represent employers in labor and employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and wrongful termination claims
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on employment law issues
• Advise clients on employment-related compliance, policies, and best practices
• Assist with internal investigations and risk assessments
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, separation agreements, and workplace policies
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances
• Stay current on developments in federal, New Jersey, and (if applicable) Pennsylvania employment laws

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active admission to the New Jersey Bar (required)
• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and employment law
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience with employment litigation and/or counseling
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience practicing before state and federal courts in NJ/PA
• Familiarity with agencies such as the EEOC and state equivalents
• Experience advising employers on day-to-day HR issues
