Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various settings, and possess strong clinical skills to provide high-quality patient care. This role involves working with diverse patient populations, including children and seniors, and may include responsibilities related to airway management.

Duties

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while monitoring patient responses.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize electronic health record systems such as Meditech for documentation purposes.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols within the clinical environment.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care activities, including MDS documentation for senior care patients.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Experience in Medsurg, ER, and skilled care is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of airway management techniques.
• Experience working with children or senior populations is highly desirable.
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems; experience with Meditech is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• IV certification along with ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.
