Physician — Care Delivery Location: Remote — must be licensed in CA, PA, NY, or FL Contract (1099) Approximately $150 per hour We compensate clinicians based on the care they deliver on the platform, with defined values for actions like case review, communication, and clinical decision-making. We calibrate the model so the average physician earns approximately $150 per hour. Lotus is built to reach the patients the healthcare system doesn't. The result is a system where people delay care, overuse emergency rooms, and manage chronic conditions without support — not because they don't want help, but because access isn't designed to reach them. We are a free, direct-to-patient care platform that connects patients to a network of licensed clinicians delivering primary and urgent care asynchronously and on-demand, with the patient's full longitudinal record always in view. Your scope spans both primary and urgent care: diagnosing, ordering labs and imaging, prescribing medications, coordinating referrals, and guiding patients through next steps. You are not replacing a hospital or a specialist. The platform handles documentation support, triage routing, and administrative overhead. Review and manage patient cases end-to-end, including prescriptions, diagnostic testing, referrals, and follow-ups Deliver care asynchronously across a range of primary and urgent care presentations Escalate urgent clinical concerns clearly and appropriately What You Bring MD or DO — board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine Active, unrestricted medical license in at least CA, NY, PA or FL (multi-state licensure a plus) HIPAA awareness and good judgment with sensitive patient data Telehealth experience is a plus, not required More than 100 million Americans don't have access to consistent primary care.
