Advanced Practitioner, Full-Time - Multi-Clinic Greater DFW Area We are seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to join our team of dynamic healthcare professionals in the Dallas Fort Worth Area! This hybrid role offers a flexible work environment, with a few days spent at our Dallas Fort Worth Clinics. In this position, you will play a key role in overseeing infusion care delivered by nurses in our physician-based ambulatory infusion centers in the Dallas Fort Worth Area via telehealth as needed. You will create and maintain individualized care plans for all patients referred to the center, ensuring safe and effective care during infusion procedures. You will also serve as the primary clinical liaison between the referring physician’s office and the infusion center, providing critical support to the team and evaluating patients’ needs throughout the treatment process. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering compassionate care in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and guidelines, all within your scope of practice. Travel to other DFW clinics may be required as needed. Compensation Pay Range: $58.00 - $62.00/hour Bonus Plan Target: 5% Annually (Based on performance) PTO Buy-back, PTO Rollover, and PTO Donation Program. Saturday Coverage will rotate between Cedar Hill and Plano, TX Reports to: Clinical Operations Manager Location 6121 N State HWY 161, STE 120 Irving, TX 75063 Primary Responsibilities Review and evaluate clinical information provided by referring physician offices and admit appropriate patients for infusion. Evaluate newly referred patients and develop initial plans of care. Monitor plans of care and make necessary changes. Perform pertinent physical exams with assessment of normal and abnormal findings on new patients and confirm suitability for infusion. Review all lab reports provided by the referring physician. Request diagnostic and lab studies of the referring physician upon evaluation of the patient as needed. Recognize situations which require the immediate attention of a physician and initiate life-saving procedures when necessary. Consult with the supervising Medical Director as necessary. Document infusion orders in the electronic medical record. Dictate or document notes in the electronic medical record. Secondary Responsibilities Promote company quality outcome initiatives. Delegate responsibilities to staff nurses on duty. Follow company policies and CDC guidelines for infection control. Carry out all duties in a professional and courteous manner. Provide patient education and answer questions from prospective patients and referring physicians. Enforce all HIPAA compliance guidelines. Qualifications Education and Experience Must have a current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state in which service is provided. ONC/ONCC Certified, preferred Must have current DEA license. Rheumatology and/or infusion experience preferred, but not required. 1-3 years in a clinic setting preferred. Must possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service skills to identify and address patient needs. Strong time management skills and ability to work independently to deliver key results. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and a high degree of professional ethic, knowledge of confidential and regulatory compliance practices.
