Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Location

La Jolla, CA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM | Sunday – Saturday

Key Responsibilities

• Perform circulator duties within the operating room throughout surgical procedures
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and continuity of care
• Document patient information and care activities accurately using electronic health record systems
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, standards of practice, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in standby rotation as required based on unit needs

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN license in hand at time of submittal (Temporary or Permanent)
• Circulator experience in the Operating Room is required
• Minimum 1.5 years of continuous experience in the Operating Room specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required – must be American Heart Association (AHA)
• EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months of work history
• Minimum 1 year of total travel nursing experience, with 6+ months of continuous travel experience leading up to submittal

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or academic medical setting
• Familiarity with a broad range of surgical service lines within the OR
