CDL Driver
The CDL Driver will be responsible for the transportation of materials between Farouk Systems, Inc. facilities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks for delivery.
- Drive truck to proper destination while applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
- Maintain logs of vehicle service and repair status following applicable state and federal regulations.
- Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in working order.
- Assist in other warehouse functions such as loading trucks, handling product and other duties as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience
- Valid Class A CDL Drivers License
- Hazardous Material Endorsement
- Forklift Certified
- Knowledge of the local area a plus.
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to lift 50-75 pounds.
- Ability to push 100+ pounds.
- Punctual and able to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
