Embark on a rewarding contract position as a Speech-Language Pathologist, providing vital support to students in grades K-3 at a single, welcoming school site near East Falmouth, MA. This role is ideal for a dedicated SLP seeking to make an immediate impact during a defined medical leave coverage period from October 26 through December 22. Enjoy a manageable caseload of 26 students in a collaborative school environment.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist credentials, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience or strong interest in working within school settings
• Ability to effectively manage and document a K-3 caseload
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for practice in Massachusetts

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-3
• Evaluating, diagnosing, and managing speech, language, and communication disorders
• Developing IEPs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Documenting progress and preparing thorough reports
• Maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and school district regulations

Your schedule will consist of full-time hours, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with a lunch break from 12:00 to 12:30 PM. To support your success, an additional half hour is provided on Tuesdays and Thursdays for report writing.
