Role Overview We are looking for detail-oriented assembly technicians with practical microscope experience to handle fine component rework, assembly, and quality verification. This position requires strong fine motor skills, steady hand-eye coordination, and the ability to maintain focus while working under magnification.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform delicate micro-component rework using microscope stations and specialized hand tools (e.g., tweezers).
• Remove damaged components and position replacement parts without causing product damage.
• Perform visual inspections and initial quality checks to verify parts meet quality standards.
• Assess your work to identify and correct defects before moving items to the next production stage.
• Follow standard operating procedures, documentation guidelines, and established quality standards.
• Maintain consistent quality and output across precision assembly tasks.
• Collaborate with production and quality team members to achieve operational goals.

Qualifications

• Practical experience operating microscopes within an electronics or manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record handling, inspecting, and repairing micro-sized components under magnification.
• Strong fine motor skills and proficiency with hand tools used in micro-assembly.
• Ability to work effectively at a seated microscope workstation throughout scheduled shifts.
• High attention to detail with a focus on meeting quality standards.
• Ability to learn inspection criteria quickly to distinguish acceptable parts from non-conforming ones.
• Strong focus and consistency when performing detailed, repetitive tasks.

Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following fields is a plus:

• Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) or general electronics rework and assembly.
• Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly or component-level repair.
• Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS).
• Medical device assembly involving micro-component manipulation.
• Other technical fields requiring precision micro-assembly, micro-inspection, or micro-rework.
