Job Description Our busy dermatology practice is seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant to join our team! Duties Checking patients in/out Rooming patients Documenting the reason for their visit Assisting the providers with the visit and helping in procedures, surgeries, or cosmetics Assisting with special dermatology procedures Perform as a team, working closely and communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally with co-workers Process paperwork and documentation into charts Processing prescriptions and referrals Qualifications Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skilled required Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced office Comfortably handle stressful situations Demonstrate a high-level degree of professionalism Job Type Part-Time: Monday – Wednesday 8am - 5pm Experience 1 year of experience in medical office setting (Required) Education High School Diploma (Required) Certifications/Licenses Certificates related to medical training or education preferred Pay Pay starts at $17.00 and increases based on experience Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
