As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will patrol assigned areas at a commercial property, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. This driving position offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and teamwork. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.67 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards. Monitor access points and observe activity at the location, reporting security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Complete accurate activity reports and maintain professional communication with clients, visitors, and team members. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. At least one year of security-related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Guard card is required. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for role. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
