Quality Supervisor

Our client, a growing and well-established manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead their quality control team and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This is a high-impact role requiring a strong leader who can balance shop-floor engagement with strategic quality management and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsiblities
  • Team Leadership & Supervision

    • Lead and supervise a team of 4–6 QC technicians (including day and night shift coverage)
    • Provide hands-on training, coaching, performance feedback , and disciplinary action when necessary
    • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and quality excellence
  • Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement

    • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for:- Nonconformances
      • Customer complaints
      • Internal/external audit findings
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner closely with Engineering and Operations teams to resolve quality concerns
    • Communicate quality risks, trends, and KPIs to senior leadership, including executive stakeholders
Qualifications

Required:

  • 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality role
  • 3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field

Preferred:

  • Experience in HVAC, metal fabrication, or similar manufacturing environments
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) is a plus
