Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dynamic leadership opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager to oversee pharmacy operations in a well-established retail setting located in Ogdensburg, NY. This role is ideal for candidates seeking an interim or permanent position with a focus on regulatory compliance, team management, and business development.

• Ogdensburg, NY

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Closed Sundays

Key Responsibilities:

• Register as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with all federal, state, and board of pharmacy regulations, as well as company policies.
• Manage all aspects of the pharmacy department, including budget, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and third-party administration to meet financial targets.
• Lead business development efforts within the store and local community.
• Supervise pharmacy support personnel, conducting performance evaluations and training.
• Maintain accountability for pharmacy associates’ compliance with training requirements and regulatory standards.
• Provide patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication usage, interactions, and side effects; monitor patient health progress.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives to promote patient safety.
• Uphold a clean, organized workspace and maintain department facilities as per legal and company standards.
• Complete state-mandated continuing education requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Pharmacy License.
• Immunization Certification with a demonstrated ability to administer all vaccine types.
• Recent experience in a pharmacy management role preferred.
