Home Health Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide quality in-home care to clients in Inkster, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and supporting their independence in a home environment.
Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely within the home.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, meal preparation, and cleaning.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Monitor client condition and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a caregiving roleis a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively and show empathy towards clients.
• Basic knowledge of personal care and safety procedures.
• Reliable transportation to and from client homes.
• Must be able to pass background checks and meet state certification requirements if applicable.
