Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long Term Care (LTC)

Duration: 8 weeks
Shift: 8-hour Nights (22:00 - 06:30) - Night shift LPN
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,200 - $1,270
Employment Type: Travel Contract (travel LPN / travel nursing jobs)
Weekend Commitment: Every weekend required
Transportation: Must have own transportation

Required Qualifications

Active LPN license in Vermont or a compact state
Minimum 1 year of experience in Long Term Care, LTC, or similar clinical setting
Availability for night shifts and every-weekend schedule
Reliable transportation to the Rutland, VT facility
Strong communication, clinical documentation, and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long term care environment
Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and facility policy
Monitor, assess, and document residents' health status; report changes promptly
Collaborate with nurses, CNAs, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality care
Support residents with activities of daily living and promote a safe, positive environment
Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
