Job Summary R+L Carriers is looking for a full‑time Forklift Operator at our Wheeling, IL service center. The role involves moving freight of up to 53‑foot trailers in and out of enclosed trailers on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock. Work Schedule Full‑time. Monday shift starts at 12:00 am; Tuesday–Friday shifts start at 2:00 am. Hours are 8–10 per day. Compensation & Benefits Starting pay is $25.94 per hour. PTO is available after the first 90 calendar days of employment. Primary Responsibilities Operate a forklift to move freight safely onto and off of 53‑foot trailers on a roofed dock. Read manifests and computer displays. Maintain safe operation in a fast‑paced environment. Qualifications Must be able to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty. Ability to read manifests. Ability to read/interact with a computer display. Forklift experience. Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment. Previous forklift experience in a fast‑paced environment. Some LTL experience.
