Your Role and Impact The Neighborhood Service Manager leads all physical operations of a neighborhood, ensuring preservation and maintenance of the property. Leadership – Build positive relationships with neighborhood staff, hiring, training, mentoring, resolving issues, and advocating for neighborhood interests. Neighborhood Management – Manage the budget, cost‑effective maintenance functions, safety training, capital projects, vendor and contractor oversight, and inventory. Upholding Standards – Serve as the knowledge holder of company policies, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations for safe, effective operation. Here’s More Of The Nitty‑gritty Experience – Minimum five years in apartment maintenance and at least two years of supervisory experience. Customer Service – Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, neighbors, and the public. Availability – Willingness to be on call and help when needed beyond a typical 9‑to‑5 shift. Education – High school diploma or GED required; at least three maintenance‑related certificates (e.g., BOMA, IREM, vocational programs). Safety – Knowledge of federal, state, and local governing laws and the ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and maintenance instructions. Physical – Requires standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening, hearing, and visual acuity; able to lift up to 50 lb occasionally. Compensation and Benefits Pay Range – $38.75 to $45.00 per hour. Discretionary semi‑annual bonus plan. Standby pay and on‑call premium pay.
