Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Location: Neptune, New Jersey
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week | Days/Nights
Shift Options: 5x8-Hour or 4x10-Hour Shifts
Shift Hours: Between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Traveler Pay: $64–$67/hr ($2,560–$2,680 weekly) based on experience
• Local Pay: $53–$57/hr ($2,120–$2,280 weekly) based on experience

We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) for a 13-week assignment in Neptune, NJ. The Radiology Tech will perform diagnostic radiographic examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, experience operating radiographic equipment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and department protocols
• Position patients appropriately and select technical imaging factors based on patient needs
• Operate radiographic and portable imaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Apply radiation safety measures and utilize collimation techniques to minimize patient exposure
• Perform portable X-ray procedures in patient rooms, operating rooms, and emergency departments
• Prepare and assist with radiopaque contrast procedures as needed
• Ensure proper patient identification and accurate film/image labeling
• Complete imaging documentation and maintain patient records accurately
• Schedule appointments and assist with administrative duties as required
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging rooms and equipment
• Assist patients with movement, transfers, and positioning during procedures
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while addressing individual patient needs

• 40 hours per week
• Shift options include 5x8-hour or 4x10-hour schedules
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• No on-call requirement
• No float requirement
• Scrub Color: Black

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required
• Completion of clinical and ARRT requirements required

• Active ARRT Certification required
• Active New Jersey State Radiology License required
• Must be eligible for and able to pass National Registry requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Radiology/X-Ray Tech experience required
• Experience with portable imaging and digital radiography preferred

• Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment
• Accurate patient positioning techniques
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
• Experience with digital imaging systems and image management

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving and adaptability
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
